PAHAL Social Organisation (Regd) was initiated in the year 2011 when a group of
citizens based in Delhi came together with the objective of bringing a positive
difference in the society in their own little ways. To start with, PAHAL started
organizing health camps as well as distributing clothes in the nearby slum areas in
Dwarka, a sub-city in the south-west region of Delhi.
PAHAL Social Organisation (Regd) was initiated in the year 2011 when a group of

difference in the society in their own little ways. To start with, PAHAL started
organizing health camps as well as distributing clothes in the nearby slum areas in
Dwarka, a sub-city in the south-west region of Delhi.
PAHAL is completely volunteer-led and has a network of more than 500 members
from across the country, involved in conducting various social activities to help the
underprivileged. PAHAL does not receive financial aid from any government and
international bodies. All the expenditure incurred in running PAHAL Pathshala, rents,
bills and conducting of activities is supported by its benevolent members and
socially-aware citizens of the society through sponsorship and donations.
Donations to PAHAL are exempted under Section 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act 1961.

“PAHAL’s objective is to provide dignity along with charity to the underprivileged who
don’t know how to ask more and complain about what they have.
Since 2012, we have seen ample success towards our goal – upliftment of the
underprivileged through means of organizing events and welfare program in the area
of education, health and wellness, economic development of the weaker section with
the help of our ever growing PAHAL family comprising esteemed members across
the country.
It is very rewarding to see that the children of Pahal Pathshala are thriving because
of basic education and have participated in various co-curricular activities with the
students of various reputed schools through exchange programmes.
PAHAL is a mature organization today. from a seed it has expanded its roots in
different parts of the country bearing fruits and growing branches that are reaching
newer avenues.
PAHAL is grateful to all the donors and sponsors for their continued support to
accomplish this objective and specially to the members without whose selfless work
the foundation on which Pahal stands, would not have been strong.”
